Question - Imagine if I decide that I want to do an experiment to determine if group chats are a good learning aid in this course. I post an announcement that half the students will do group chats and the other half will not. I also say that they are to e-mail if they want to do the group chats.

The first half that e-mail are assigned to the Group Chat condition.

The last half (and those that do not come to see me) get assigned to the Control condition.

What is the problem with this study?
