Question: Marge Green owned 50% of the stock of the MAGA Co. A written contract was made between Green and Maga Co., whereby Ms. Green surrendered her stock to the MAGA Co., and they agreed to pay Green $100,000 cash, the sum of $5,000 each year as long as she lived, and after her death the sum of $2,500 each year to her husband until his death. Upon Ms. Green's death several years later, her husband survived her, MAGA Co. refused to pay him anything upon the ground that he (the husband) was not a party to the contract. The husband sues MAGA Co. What is the probable result and why?
