According to the latest Gallup poll, about 58% of Americans want to be vaccinated. About 31% of the population in the United States is in the age group 45 to 64 years of age. About 28% of Americans want to be vaccinated and are also in the age group 45 to 64 years of age.

a. You pick someone at random, what is the probability that they want to be vaccinated or they are in the age group 45 to 64 years of age?

b. You pick someone at random, what is the probability that they are 45 to 64 years of age and do not want to be vaccinated?

c. You pick someone at random, what is the probability that they are not in the age group 45 to 64 years of age and do not want to be vaccinated?

d. Determine if the events "want to be vaccinated", "ge 45 to 64 years" are independent events or not. Please show correct calculations and then use that information to declare the events are or are not independent.
