Suppose that customers arrive at a comic book store according to a Poisson process of rate λ = 10 per hour. Each customer is a male with probability 0.9 and a female with probability 0.1, and the sex of each customer is independent of the arrival process and the sex of other customers.

Suppose that the duration of each male customer's stay in the store follows an exponential distribution with mean equal to 30 minutes and that the staying times across customers are independent. Suppose that there is currently one male customer in the store. What is the probability that no female customer will arrive before this male customer leaves?
