A car dealership knows from past experience that 20% of the people that talks to a salesperson will eventually purchase a carTo increase the chances of success, you propose to offer a free dinner for customers that agree to listen to a complete sales presentation. Your boss likes your marketing idea and agrees to try it out for the next six months. At the end of this trial period, you observe that 60% of the people who purchased cars had a free dinner and 85% of the people who did not end up purchasing cars did not get a free dinner either.
