A machine contains 10 identical components that have lifetimes that are independent of one another. What is the probability density function for the lifetime of the machine assuming that it will only function if all 10 components are working. The pdf for one component is f(x)=Ax(12-x) for 0<=x<=12 and f(x)=0 otherwise.
