Your brother Bob has his own building company, Constructed Homes, which specialises in new builds as well as renovations to existing houses. Bob's role as Project Manager is to oversee the timing of supplies to multiple building projects simultaneously, whilst ensuring trade workers are available, to keep construction running as per contractual timelines with his customers. His company will lose money on each job that is significantly overdue. Bob is finding managing the builds particularly difficult brought about by a combination of shortages of building supplies due to global shipping issues, and renovations becoming extremely popular due to people watching home renovation shows during the COVID-19 lockdowns. You would like to use your skills as a BI expert to help your brother. In particular you want to give Bob insight into what the predicted levels of building demand and building materials supply will be in 2022, so he can sign building contracts for the number of jobs he will be able to successfully deliver on time. Given Bob is the Project Manager all insights will need to be at the tactical level of decision-making.
