The number of people who are concerned about keeping their environment clean and safe for their future generations is increasing because of the effects of global warming. This increase has a created a gap in the market as a result of increased demand for dustbins. The product will be called techno bins which are used to collect dirt in offices, schools and even homes.

The cost of setting up the business will be $40,000. Out of the money, $30,000 will be used to procure the first batch of the bins from the manufacturers. Office space and furniture will be bought using $800. Lastly the remaining $ 9,200 will be used for marketing and advertisement. The product will be advertised through radio shows, television and through the social media. The company will hire bloggers who will create a social media buzz about the product to increase consumer awareness of the product in the market. The company will spend a lot of money in advertising the product because its success in the market depends on it. The company will not incur costs of paying employees because the proprietor will manage it alone during its initial stages.

The marketing strategy adopted for the product will target various institutions such as schools, hospitals, offices, and homes. The institutions have been singled out because of the number of people who use them on a daily basis. This means they have a lot of litter to dispose of and therefore the bins will help the institutions keep their environment clean. Additionally, dustbins are normally popular with such large institutions; therefore, techno bins will offer them a cheaper option as compared to the expensive ones they have been using.
