1. GENERAL LINEAR MODEL
(1) What is the effect of social status and smoking level on the risk of hypertension during pregnancy? Break down your answer into three parts that address each of the three questions below:
(a) State the fitted linear model. Explain the math symbols if necessary. Explain why this model is appropriate.
(b) Report the estimate, standard error, t statistic and p value for each coefficient.
(c) Does social status have a significant impact on the risk of hyper-tension? Does the smoking level have a significant impact on the risk of hypertension?
