Assessment Instructions
In this assessment, you will be developing a response through application of the analytics concepts

To do so, you will need to demonstrate:

How Design Thinking principles were applied in the development of your proposed innovation. This is to commence with accessing data from reputable data sources on the internet (such as kaggle.com) with infographics demonstrating how this data can be used as input to the "Empathise" or "Discovery" stages of the Design Thinking process. The use of this data is mandatory for demonstrating application of course concepts.

Application of UX and CX principles during the development process. To apply these principles, there is a need to use the data you have accessed to identify your nominated persona(s) for your proposed innovation. There is then a need to explain how your proposed innovation will deliver against each of the stages of the customer journey for your nominated persona(s).

Acknowledgement and management of legal and ethical issues in the creation of your innovation.

Select a case study brief from either Appendix A or Appendix B (not both)

Apply UX and CX Design Thinking principles in delivering an analytics-based solution to this brief, taking into consideration UX, CX and ethical issues in developing this innovation.

These steps include:
DISCOVER & DEFINE
Problem statement
Defining your target audience by applying data accessed from reputable data sources on the internet (such as kaggle.com)
Demonstrating how this data can be used as input to the "Empathise" or "Discovery" stages of the Design Thinking process.
Applying user journey mapping and creating outcomes for your nominated persona(s)

DESIGN
Developing a Lo-fi design using wireframe(s)
TEST + ITERATE
Explaining how to capitalise on design failure through fast loop iterations

In evaluating your proposed innovation from a UX and CX perspective,

How feasible is the solution for implementation?

How well does the solution meet the needs of the end-user

Review the Replica website and design a comparable app that places greater emphasis on diversity and inclusion with demographics. Complete this task by accessing third party data from sources such as Kaggle.com for your nominated persona(s)

"Your Replika will always be by your side no matter what you're up to. Chat about your day, do fun or relaxing activities together, share real-life experiences in AR, catch up on video calls, and so much more"

You are required to apply the steps of Design Thinking to develop this technological product from conception to implementation, from a UX and CX perspective.

Success criteria include:

Ideation - How innovative and creative is the solution?

Customer centric - How well does the solution meet the needs of the end user (UX), as identified by accessing third party data sets?

Feasibility - How feasible is the solution for implementation?

Expandability and scalability - What is the potential for the idea to become a business?

From an analytics perspective, consider what can be inferred from public and proprietary third party datasets.
To develop this design, there is a need to nominate a persona based on accessing third party data from sources such as kaggle.com. For example, this is the persona of Lucas:
