2's Complement: Design a circuit to add or subtract two 4-bit binary numbers. For the subtraction, do a conversion from a positive 4-bit binary number to its corresponding negative in 2's complement representation (for example convert +4 to -4 in 2's complement). There should be a control signal to enable or disable the conversion (i.e. if you want a positive or negative number). Use a word generator to supply the two 4-bit inputs. Use hex displays on the inputs and output. Use a probe on the carry output and add/subtract control input. Use a 74LS283N Adder chip and a 74LS86N XOR chip. Simulate the circuit in Multisim and test enough input combinations that you are sure the circuit is working properly. Make sure you test in all theranges of numbers that are possible. List the numbers tested (input and output) below. Print out your circuit and attach.

What does the DAQ Assistant do How is it useful over the legacy acquisition methods What does FFT stand for and what does it do to a real-time signal Sketch the output of an FFT analysis performed on a 100 Hz sinewave signal at 1 V.
Sven has decided to make and sell his grandmother's pasta. He rents a building for $600/month and pasta equipment for $300/month. The pasta costs $.20 /pound in raw materials to make . Sven can make up to 3000 pounds a month by himself.
The design of a home security system requires the use of sensors, including a sensor to measure carbon dioxide levels. Your search resulted in one sensor that provides an output range of [-2V, 1V].
Received power of half-wave dipole antennas, Assume that two antennas are half-wave dipoles and each has a directive gain of 3dB. If the transmitted power is 1W and the two antennas are separated by a distance of 10 km, what is the received power?
An FSK system with Rb = 110bits/sec is transmitted over an RF Channel with white noise. The receiver uses non-coherent detection. If Eb/N = 5dB, evaluate Pb for this system.
To develop contoller as a sequential circuit using minimum number of D flip-flops and the minimum number of external gates. the controller should set the values of the control lines appropriately to drive the combinational logic circuit.
The SV curve can be used to understand the impact of constant power factor shunt compensation support. In this case, the receiving end is injected with a specific amount of reactive power so that the receiving end maintains a constant load power f..
Refer to the Wheatstone Bridge diagram. If R1=1ohm, R2=111ohm, Runknown= 1ohm, R3 is set at 1Kohm, and the battery is 9V:What is the current flowing through the galvanometerohm Use 60ohm for the internal galvanometer resistance in calculations.
A conducting sphere of radius R is spinning at an angular speed ! in presence of an uniform magnetic field ˆzBo. Find the emf induced between north pole N and any point on the equator E. Hint- what is the emf induced between two end points
Given a sum-of-products expression, it is possible to write the 1s corresponding to each product term directly on the map without developing an explicit truth table of minterm list, and then proceed with map minimization procedure.
A system is described by the differential equation ty'(t)-8y(t)=x(t). Classify the system as to linearity, time-invariance and stability. A system is described by the equation y(t)= \(\int_{t/3}^{-\infty}\)x( \(\lambda\)) d.
