Section 1:
a) What is the philosophy of Palliative Care?
b) Describe the key principles of Palliative Care.
c) Give one example of how you put these principles in practice.
d) Describe one Palliative Care service that is provided in Ireland.
Section 2: For each of the following, write 2 reflections on your personal interaction and communication with each of the following:
a) A person with a life-limiting illness
b) The person's family or a member of the Palliative Care Team
Section 3:
1) Outline the signs and symptoms of a client receiving end-of-life care.
2) Select 3 of the following issues and give examples of how you promoted/managed them while caring for a client receiving end-of-life care. The issue should be clearly defined in your answer.
