Problem- a) A buffer is created by adding 0.20 moles of Acetic Acid (Ka= 1.7X10^-5) and 0.15 moles of Sodium acetate to a 1.00 L container. What is the pH of the buffer?

b) Why does the pH of the above buffer remain unchanged if 50 ml of distilled water was added to the solution? Explain.

c) Determine the PH if 0.05 moles of HCl is added to the buffer solution.
