Assignment: Biology - Anatomy- Health Care in Everyday Life

The purpose of this activity is for students to connect personal knowledge of health care in a real-world context. Students will reflect on their interaction with health care and identify how health care impacts their lives on a daily or weekly basis.

Student Task: Students will identify at least one person, place or a thing that represents their interaction with health care in their daily lives. Students will describe, in detail, the person, place or thing and write a personal reflection that is between 200 and 300 words.

Student Reflection: Students will write a reflection that describes the person, place or thing that answers the following questions:

Question 1. What is the person, place, or thing you selected?
Question 2. Why did you select this to represent health care in your life?
Question 3. Why does this represent health care for you?
Question 4. How often do you or someone you know engage with this type of health care?
