The machining process on a three-axis CNC machining center takes 4.75 min. With the present setup it takes 2.0 mins to unload the finished workpiece and load a new workpiece.

It has been proposed to install a two-position pallet shuttle at the machine so that simultaneous work can be carried out by the machine and you (loading new workpiece).

The pallet shuttle would take 10 seconds to transfer parts between the machine worktable and load/unload station.
