Methane gas combusts to form carbon dioxide and water as shown in the following reaction: CH4 + 2O2 → CO2 + 2H2O. If there was an unlimited supply of oxygen, how many grams of carbon dioxide would be produced by the combustion of 50. grams of methane (CH4)?
