He has noticed that he has been excessively thirsty, despite drinking plenty of water, and he has been having to urinate more frequently over the past 1 week or so. He has decided to finally see a primary care physician for this complaint. What is the patient's most likely diagnosis? What histology findings would be seen in the affected endocrine organ? What other pathologies does the patient's uncontrolled condition put him at risk for?
