A candidate for the position of Accounts Receivable/Logistics clerk successfully completed the screening and two subsequent interviews. The position reports equally to two different departments and supervisors, and both supervisors recommended to the HR Manager that a job offer be extended to this candidate. However, as the candidate was leaving the building, the vice president of this 600-employee operation saw her walking with a limp, and then instructed one of the supervisors to NOT proceed with hiring the candidate. The supervisor reached out to the HR Manager to let her know of this development. The HR Manager reports to the Corporate Office Manager who reports to the vice president.
Scenario 2:
Adrianna and Liam have worked together as co-workers for two years now. Liam was recently promoted to the position of manager and Adrianna now reports directly to him.
