Bricks are produced in lots of size 1000. Before shipping a lot, a sample of 25 bricks is selected and inspected for quality. Two random variables are of interest. These x, the number of chips per brick, and I, the hardness of the brick. Assume hardness is measured a continuous scale from 1 to 10 with larger numb indicating a harder brick.
