Jill McDonald is the author and illustrator of this book, Hello, World! Solar System. It is a non-fiction children's book. It has visionary art which includes children's merchandise puzzles, games stationery. This book is about the planet the solar system.
Organization:
"Organizational strategies vary in nonfiction books, but the strategy should be clear and consistent." (Coats, 2013, pg. 302). The organization is clear. Children will begin to learn about the different planets in space. Children can look at the pictures as the book is being read to the children. Children can point to each part of the solar system as the teacher reads.
Visual Design and Access Features:
"As in storybooks, pictures in informational texts complement the words; unlike some storybook illustrations, however, the pictures should not be used for ironic intent in informational books." (Coats, 2013, pg.303). The book has beautiful and creative art that can make reading exciting and fun for children.
