For this assignment, you will be performing a rhetorical analysis of a speech or text. If you do not have a speech in mind, I encourage you to find one from either a TED Talk, a public address, or a piece of media. This should be a piece which ideally was over 10 minutes in length on video/audio, but exceptions can be made. In an essay of 3 to 5 pages, address the following rhetorical facets:
There are very few limits to your choice of rhetorical address, but I ask you not to do the classic, overdone speeches (e.g. the Gettysburg Address, Dr. King's "I Have A Dream" speech, etc.). I want to see something at least a little nontraditional!
