SS is a 50 year old female who seeks care in your office because she is "having that bronchitis thing again". She reports these episodes as 1-3 times per year consistently over the past 6 years. She has a history of being a 1ppd smoker but for the past 15 years is a social smoker "only". SS states her symptoms are worse in the morning, when she has a heavy cough with large amount of phlegm. She has a history of using inhaled corticosteroids, long acting beta2 agonists, oral corticosteroids, and antibiotics. Currently she is not taking any maintenance medications. She reports a worsening exercise intolerance and increased episodes Abnormals on physical exam include decreased breath sounds with scattered end expiratory wheeze. She has normal VS and a BMI.
