A mass 10 kg lies on a slope of 300 to the horizontal. There is no friction but the mass is attached to a 2 m long spring, which stretches to 2.05m up the slope when it is holding the mass at rest. What is the value of 'k' for the spring?

The mass is now pulled down the slope an extra 0.02 m. When released, at t = 0, it executes simple harmonic motion. What is the period of oscillation? What is the maximum speed of the mass? What is the time when for the first time the length of the spring is 2.01.
