XYZ International is a soft drink company. They are looking to increase the throughput of their bottling plant in order to meet rising demands for their products. The plant is not able to upgrade any machinery or make any changes to their physical environment. XYZ would like to increase production levels from the current 50,000 soda cans per day. The plant can handle 1,800 work-in-process soda cans per hour and it takes 15 minutes to get each can through the system. Assuming the plant can only be open for 10 hours each day, what is the maximum number of sodas the plant can produce in a day?
