  3. One of the objectives of researching in college is to grow intellectually, which means learning new ideas, developing new perspectives, and enhancing new skills. What new things have you learned on your topic as you conducted your research?

The detractors argue that the project undermines America's foundation, some of them going to the extent that it is unpatriotic. Undoubtedly, the project is investigative in nature and foregrounds a different aspect of America not usually sanctioned by mainstream American history. Is this kind of project unpatriotic?
