Problem: An eagle is flying due east at 8.9 m/s carrying a mouse in its legs. The mouse manages to break free at a height of 12 m.

Part A: What is the magnitude of the mouse's velocity as it reaches the ground?

I want help to find the magnitude of the mouse's velocity as it reaches the ground and note: effects of air resistance are not included in this calculation.
