An air track is tilted so that it makes a small angle with the horizontal. An air cart of mass 0.05kg is given an initial velocity of 5m/s as measured by photogates. It travels 5m in 2 seconds up the air track. As the cart moves up the air track, it is observed to slow down and momentarily come to rest. It then begins to slide down the track. Assume negligible friction.

A) For this experiment, sketch a graph of the velocity vs. time and acceleration vs time assuming that the initial uphill motion is in the +x-direction.

B) What is the speed of the cart when it reaches its starting point again?
