A very small circular metal ring of radius r=0.5cm and resistance x=5ohms is that the center of a large concentric circular metal ring of raduis R=50cm and resistance X=500ohms. The two rings lie in the same plane. At t=3.00 seconds, the large ring carries a clockwise current of 3 ampere, and at t=3.2 seconds the large ring carries a counterclockwise current of 5 ampere.

a) What is the average electric field induced in the small ring during this time? Draw a diagram, showing all relevant quantities.

b) What is the magnitude and direction of the average current in the small ring?
