A sightseeing tourist submarine is constructed as shown. The portals along the side can be assumed to be essentially flat, vertical and 1 meter in diameter. Assume a specific weight of seawater of 10,000 N/m3.

a) If the submarine operates at a depth of 75 meters (to the center of the side portals), what is the hydrostatic force on one of the side portals, in KPa?
