Q3. ABC Company offers its employees 12% commission on the first PHP 50,000 worth of products sold, 10% commission on the next PHP 75,000, and 20% on sales beyond PHP 100,000. What is the gross pay of an employee if the employee was able to sell PHP 150,000?

Q4. In a department store, some items are paid on installment basis through credit cards. A salesman was able to sell 10 items for PHP 7,999 each. Each transaction is payable in 4 months months, equally divided into 4 equal installments without interest. He gets 10% commission on the first month for each of the desktop computers sold. The commission decreases by 1.5% every month thereafter and computed on the outstanding balance for the month.
