Question: A fountain shoots a jet of water 16 m into the air. The fountain has a round nozzle of diameter 0.627 cm at ground level, fed by a pump located 2.2 m below ground through a round pipe of diameter 2.42 cm.

Part A: What is the gauge pressure of the water at the pump? Assume steady, laminar flow of water, no viscosity, and no air drag on the water jet. The acceleration of gravity is 9.81 m/s2

I need help to solve the above question and answer in units of kPa.
