A ball of mass 0.40 kg moving at 180 m/s east strikes a second ball, initially at rest of mass 0.500 kg. As a result, the first ball is deflected off at an angle of 30 degrees with a speed of 1.10 m/s. What is the final velocity of the second ball? How much energy is lot in the collision?
