Two hockey players of equal mass are sliding across the ice rink in a straight line directly toward each other. Player 1 has an initial velocity of 2.5 m/s, and player 2 has an initial velocity of -3.1 m/s. They collide in a totally elastic collision. The final velocity of player 1 after the collision is -0.6 m/s. What is the final velocity of player 2?
