Problem

I. Watch the YouTube video "Disney Bedtime Stories | CINDERELLA Short Story in English" storytelling of the classic children's fairytale, Cinderella. Click the play button on the video below and take notes on what you observe. Pay particular attention to what implicit messages children are being told with regard to: a) sex and gender, b) race and ethnicity, and c) socioeconomic class.

II. Use your "sociological imagination" after watching the video of Cinderella to respond to the following questions. Make sure to question everything and to think critically about what you just viewed. Try to reflect upon what implicit and explicit messages are being sent to those watching the fairytale.
