A children's musem has an air hocky robot on display. Humans can take a shot against this robot. Every time you take a shot, there is a 5% change that you score a goal. Eacy day, the museum allows visitors to take a total of 1,000 shots. Assume that each shot is independent of all others.

a. What is the expected number of goals scored in a day? What is the standard deviation?

b. Suppose each shot blocked by the robot makes a bell ding once while each goal scored by the human makes the bell ding four times in rapid sucession. What is the expected number of bell dings in a day? What is the standard deviation of bell dings in a day?
