Case Study: Due to the soaring temperatures and unfavorable weather, shooting outdoors may become more difficult and equipment damage may occur. As temperatures rise and more extreme weather conditions become the new norm, shooting outside is becoming more difficult. This is because performing in inclement weather can be difficult and even dangerous for actors and because severe weather can harm equipment. For example, if there is a heatwave while filming, the cast and crew of a movie that is being shot in a desert area run the risk of suffering from heatstroke and dehydration. Additionally, there is a much higher likelihood that equipment will be damaged during the production of a movie in an area that is vulnerable to natural disasters like hurricanes or floods. Also, The location where a movie is being made can be affected by extreme weather changes; for a big-budget movie, each day spent on location costs about $1 million. Whether you shoot any footage or not, the price is the same. Therefore, that million dollars is lost if bad weather keeps filming for a day. It is a waste of six days. Finally, traveling frequently for on-location work as a performer may be necessary; climate change will undoubtedly have an impact on travel. To reduce their carbon footprint, many travelers opt to fly less frequently or never. However, the environmental impact of flying is not the only issue. Weather changes can make flying challenging, if not impossible. Climate change will bring about more extreme weather and temperatures, which will lead to more flight cancellations and initially fewer flight options. Some aircraft may find it too hot too.
