Our ESP is collecting 95% of the particles in our exhaust stream. We are under pressure to improve its performance. It has been suggested that if we were to cool the inlet gas from the present 600°F to 250°F, the performance would improve. What is the estimated collection efficiency at 250°F, if we keep the mass flow rate constant, do not change any of the dimensions of the ESP, and if changing the temperature does not change any of the dimensions of the ESP, and if changing the temperature does not change the drift velocity, ?
