Aim: This student intends to carry out a systematic review that enables researchers to consider all the relevant and recent studies that can answer the main question of this research
What is the effectiveness of telemedicine in improving health outcomes across south-Asian populations?
In order to answer this question, systematic review will be carried out to investigate the following
1. The role played by telemedicine in improving the health outcomes of the patients of the south Asian populations.
2. The advantages and disadvantages of using telemedicine in south Asian health care services
3. Existence of any constraints in implementing this telemedicine in the health care industry of South Asian countries.
This investigation will be done using the systematic review methodology that enables in performing the following aspects:
1. Identify the published and peer reviewed articles, journals, books and whitepapers as evidence
2. Selection of the studies that are relevant to the current study
3. Ability in assessing the quality of the chosen studies
4. Synthesize the findings in unbiased manner from the various chosen studies
5. Presentation of the summary of the research findings along with the limitations of the research
As the current research is only based on the already published works without the involvement of any human beings, no major ethical considerations are taken into account for this research. However one ethical consideration of this research is to take only the published and the power reviewed studies into consideration for the systematic review. Also another ethical consideration is to present the findings of others fairly and accurately.
