The video game Fortnight is free to download and play, but does offer in-game purchases that allow for different modifications to the in-game player. The analytics firm Sensor Tower monitors the electronic gaming industry, and found that the mean amount of money a player of the game Fortnight spends during their first year of play is $84.67 (USD). The minimum any player can spend is $0 and they may spend up to some fixed maximum. All values between $0 and the maximum are equally likely (not restricted to whole numbers). (The game manufacturer has rules that prevent players from spending more than the fixed maximum to keep the game somewhat competitive for the free-to-play players).

a. What is the maximum a player may spend during their first year of playing?

b. What is the distribution of the amount of money a player will spend during their first year of playing? (include any parameter value(s))

c. What is the probability a player spends between $50 and $90 (inclusive) on the game?

d. In exchange for their real-world dollars (USD), players receive an in-game currency to spend on the various options and advantages inside the game. Assuming an exchange rate of 93.7 of the in-game currency for every real-world dollar, what is the standard deviation of the amount of in-game currency a player might purchase during their first year of play.
