A fire hydrant is supplied through a 6 inch cast iron pipe of 16,000 feet length. The total drop in pressure is limited to 35 psi. What is the discharge through the pipe for a water temperature of 80°F (? (kinematic viscosity) = 0.93 × 10-5 ft2/sec)?
