Question - Karoline and her family are going camping for the weekend. She is very excited that they will be staying in the woods in little cabins. They travel to the campsite and bring their own sleeping bags and pillows for the cots within the cabins. the family has a wonderful day in the woods, sings songs by the campfire, and toasts marshmallows. it gets late and the family settles into the cabin for the night. Karoline lays down and puts her hand under her pillow. She finds something soft and warm, and then very sharp. She yells for her mother and father. They find that she had a little brown bat under her pillow. They dispose of the bat and Karoline goes back to bed. She has a difficult time settling down, but she eventually falls asleep. About a week late, Karoline finds that she is getting very easily agitated. She hasn't been sleeping well so she wonders if that is the problem. She panics when presented with water. her throat also feels very funny and acts like it wants to swallow without her controlling it.
