The side of a hollow cubical box is 0.4 m. The box floats in ariver with one fourth of it's height beneath the surface. Thewalls of the box have negligible thickness. If a dense liquid ispoured into the box (density = 1254 kg/m3), what is the depth of the liquid in the box at the instant the box begins to sink? Density of water is 1000 kg/m3.
