Crude oil is to be delivered from an offshore production platform at a constant flow rate of 4.5 million bbl/day.

(a). What is the crude oil flow rate in m3/s?

(b). If a pipeline is to be installed to transport the crude oil, calculate the diameter of the pipeline in inch. Assume maximum velocity of 16ft/s.

(c). If the oil is to be stored for 15 days, what would be the minimum size (in litres) of a storage tank required to avoid spillage.
