A compressor is designed to run at 4000 RPM when ambient conditions are 101 kPa and 20C. On the day when the performance characteristics were obtained, the ambient temperature is 30 C. What is the correct speed at which the compressor must run? If inlet pressure of 90 kPa is obtained at a point where the normal ambient condition mass flow would be 60 kg/s, calculate the mass flow rate obtained during the test.
