A 100 gal tank initially contains 50 gal of brine with a concentration of 1 lb of salt per gallon. Pure water is poured into the tank at a rate of 4 gal/min and the solution, which is kept uniform, is pumped out at the rate of 2 gal/min. What is the concentration of salt in the container at the instant of overflow?
