How is hydrogen sulfide made from thioacetamide (what is the complete chemical reaction - include chemical states)?

Copper is the Group II ion and hydrogen sulfide is used to selectively precipitate Cu2+. Yet in Group III ions we see sulfides precipitate from basic (NH4)2S solution. Explain why MnS(s) and ZnS(s) do not precipitate with group II (reaction with H2S).
