Description - Background - Imagine you are assigned to serve as a consultant to advise the CEO of a real company. You will carry out necessary research, strategic analyses given your company's unique position in the market, and make appropriate recommendations. The goal of this assignment is to give you an opportunity to role-play as a Strategy Consultant to advise a top executive to revamp a company's strategy in the post-COVID era.

Section 1 - Analyze the external and internal environment. Address both of the following.
I. Post-COVID, what is the biggest challenge and the biggest opportunity in the broader (macro) environment of the focal company? Explain.
II. Identify AND evaluate the core competencies/resources/activities/dynamic capabilities of the focal company especially considering their relevance in the pre-COVID era. Based on its resources/capabilities/activities profile, is the company positioned to survive, gain, and/or sustain competitive advantage in the next 5 years? Explain.
