Case Study: In Starlight Video, an Austin-based 24/7 DVD rental shop, the average rate of customer arrivals is 30 per hour and the standard deviation for the time between arrivals is 2 minutes. The checkout process, managed by a single employee, takes an average of 1.7 minutes per customer, with a standard deviation of 3 minutes. The arrival pattern is consistent throughout the day. The store operates on a first-come, first-served basis, and it is assumed that the queue for the checkout can be infinitely long without customers leaving the line due to impatience.

Question: Given these conditions, what is the average waiting time a customer can expect to spend in line before being served at the checkout? Provide your answer in minutes, rounding to two decimal places if necessary.
