Question - AAA Corp. has a 2020 accounting net income before tax of $90,000. Also, they prepaid a three year lease for $24,000. For tax purposes, they are allowed to deduct the prepayment in 2020. The lease costs will be recognized equally over the next three years beginning in 2021. In 2021 accounting net income was $100,000. The tax rate is 30%. What is the amount for 2021 Current tax expense?
