Overview: This case study analysis is the first oftwo formative tasks that will supportyour understanding of key course concepts and the elements of a successful consultation for an organization-that is, diagnosing problems, creating a plan to address the specific problems, and the practicalimplications of implementing a plan. These case study analyses will inform your approach for the two summative tasks: a third consulting case study analysisand the final product (a comprehensiveconsulting case study and action planfor a real-world organization).
Guidelines: Review the case study about Tesco's recruitment and selection practices:Recruitment and Selection: A Tesco Case Study.Imagine that you are the consultant in charge of the Tesco account. It is time to evaluate existing hiring procedures for the company, and to make any suggestions for change. Specifically, you will consider the effectiveness of the current methods used to recruit and hire employees. Use your creativity to expand the case study, as needed, to illustrate your points.
In a three- to four-page analysis of the case study, summarize the key features of the situation very briefly and then analyze the recruiting hiring approachesused and their efficacy. Ensure that you address the following questions:
